corin ford forrester

Corin creates photographic composites that blend and juxtapose landscapes, both natural and manmade, or landscapes with human forms.  Her images reflect the beauty of the natural world, the fundamental connection between human beings and that world, as well as the tremendous impact that we have on the planet.

The artist has a background in Science (Bsc. University of Guelph 1999).  In 2006 she studied traditional black and white photography at the Haliburton School of the Arts, where she received the highest standing in the Sir Sanford Fleming College Photo Arts program. Since that time she has exhibited and sold her work in festivals and galleries in the Kawarthas, where she is based, and in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. In 2008 she was awarded the grand prize in the Environmental Photography Competition at the Colorado Environmental Film Festival.  She was Artist In Residence at Quetico Provincial Park in 2014.  The Elaine Fleck Gallery in Toronto showcased Corin’s work during its Scotiabank Nuit Blanche group show and in the Fleck Fine Art catalogue in 2015.  She has been a member of the KPG since 2007.
