quality printing is paramount to photography
Encouraging reflection on the beauty and significance of the natural world is central to Corin Ford Forrester’s art.
“Photographing nature and landscapes can be very meditative. It calms my busy mind and expands my awareness of the exquisite world around me. I'm provided with the raw materials and inspiration for integrating multiple images into new artworks.”- Corin
Corin studied traditional black and white photography at the Haliburton School of the Arts where she received the highest standing in the Sir Sanford Fleming College Photo Arts Program in 2007. She also has a degree in Microbiology from the University of Guelph.
Since 2007 she has exhibited and sold her photographs in festivals and galleries in the Kawarthas and in Toronto, and Ottawa. She has often been a participant in the Art Gallery of Peterborough's Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour and the AGP’s fundraising art auction. The Elaine Fleck Gallery in Toronto has shown her work in group exhibitions several times, most recently in 2020.
Despite the COVID19 challenges of 2021 she showed work at the SPARK Photography Festival in Peterborough, the Buckhorn Festival of the Arts Virtual Exhibition, the 59th Muskoka Arts & Crafts Summer Show and the Colborne Street Gallery in Fenelon Falls.
